  • All payments, including deposits, balances, and any cancellation or no-show fees, are considered final, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • We do not collect or store your card payment details.

2.4 Late Arrival

If arriving late for an appointment, there is no guarantee that the full treatment time will be allocated, and it will be subject to availability. Please note that the full treatment price will still apply.

3.0 Health, Consent & Guidance

3.1 Health Questionnaire

Each Ayurvedic treatment has specific contraindications. If a treatment is requested without a prior consultation, a health questionnaire must be completed in advance of the appointment. This allows for a thorough review of your medical history and health information to ensure that the chosen treatment(s) is appropriate and safe. Where necessary and if possible, alternative treatment options may be recommended. The questionnaire will be provided via a secure online form, and must be completed prior to confirming your appointment.

3.2 Informed Consent for Consultations & Treatments

All individuals will be required to provide informed consent prior to receiving a consultation or treatment(s). This is to ensure that you understand the nature of the Service, any potential risks, and how your information will be used.

The consent form will be provided via a secure online form, and must be completed prior to your appointment.

3.3 Consultation & Treatment Plan

A consultation provides a comprehensive review of your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing, with a focus on identifying any dosha (energy-profiles) imbalances. The full scope of assessments and discussion topics, such as medical history, presence of ama (toxins), and current health concerns, is outlined on our website and detailed in the Consultation Consent Form.

Following the consultation, you will receive a personalised treatment and/or set detox plan. If any of the suggested treatments make you feel uncomfortable, please inform us, as alternative recommendations can be discussed where appropriate.

3.4 Pre-Consultation Guidance

Certain Ayurvedic assessments, such as Nadi Pariksha (pulse diagnosis), require specific preparation to ensure accuracy. You will be informed of any relevant guidance in advance and through the Consultation Consent Form, including activities to avoid (e.g. caffeine, exercise, massage). It is your responsibility to follow the guidance, as failure to do so may affect the accuracy of your consultation and limit the support we can provide.

3.5 Pre & Post-Treatment Guidance

Pre-treatment

Certain treatments have specific preparation guidelines, which will be communicated in advance where applicable. In all cases please:

  • Ensure good personal hygiene out of courtesy to your therapist and to support a clean treatment environment

  • Arrive well-hydrated

Post-treatment

Whilst certain treatments include personalised aftercare advice, the following general guidance applies to all treatments:

  • Take a warm shower to remove any residual oils or products

  • Stay well-hydrated

  • Eat light, nourishing meals

  • Keep warm and allow time to rest

Additional advice for specific treatments:

Shiro Abhyanga (Head Massage)

  • Do not shower or wash your hair immediately after the treatment

  • Wait at least 1 hour before doing so

Shirodhara (Forehead Oil Flow Treatment)

  • Wash your hair immediately after the treatment

  • Allow 2-3 hours before going to sleep post-treatment

3.6 Ama (Toxin) Assessment & Ama Pachana (Detox)

The presence of ama, an accumulation of toxins within the body, will be assessed either during a consultation or via the Health Questionnaire (if requesting a treatment without a prior consultation). This assessment is required before proceeding with certain treatments, as treating the body when ama is present may reduce the effectiveness of the treatment and potentially exacerbate any imbalances.

If ama is detected, a gentle detox process known as Ama Pachana will be recommended. While not mandatory, it can help to ensure that you receive the full therapeutic benefit of your treatment(s).

4.0 Practical & Personal Care

4.1 Draping

Full Body Treatments

Due to the traditional sequence of massage strokes, standard towel coverage is not used during full body treatments. The lower private area will be draped at all times, while the rest of the body will remain uncovered to support the natural flow of the treatment. This applies to the following treatments:

  • Sarvanga Abhyanga (Full Body Massage)

  • Sarvanga Marma Abhyanga (Full Body Energy Point Massage)

  • Pinda Sveda (Herbal Poultice Massage)

  • Udvartana (Herbal Scrub Massage)

Localised Treatments

During localised treatments, only the body areas specified in the treatment description will be uncovered. All other areas will be draped accordingly.

4.2 What to Wear & Bring

All necessary items for a treatment will be provided. Please bring any toiletries or cosmetics that you may wish to use after your appointment. We recommended wearing comfortable, warm clothing. While every effort will be made to help remove any residual oil or products post-treatment, please wear clothing that you do not mind potentially getting stained. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

Please note the additional requirement for the following treatment:

Shirodhara (Forehead Oil Flow Treatment)

  • Bring a scarf, hat, or similar item(s) to cover your head, ears, and neck to protect against exposure to the cold.

4.3 Shaving & Waxing

Please ensure that any shaving and waxing of areas to be treated is completed at least 24 hours prior to the appointment.

4.4 Make-up

For treatments involving the face, please arrive with all make-up removed.

4.5 Menstruation

Due to the body's natural cleansing processes and energy flow during menstruation, certain treatments are not offered during the first three days or at any point of the menstrual cycle. Please refer to the individual treatment details for guidance. This will also be discussed when scheduling your appointment, if applicable.

4.6 Pregnancy â€‹â€‹â€‹

Pregnant individuals are welcome to receive treatments; however, â€‹certain treatments are not offered during the first trimester or at any stage of pregnancy. Please refer to the individual treatment details for guidance. Consultations are not available for individuals who are pregnant or actively trying to conceive.  â€‹
